"they do not make 'em like they used to", because they are actually making them better.
Although the classic car enthusiasts do not admit it ( as easily), possession and maintaining an old car can be a pain in the ass. it requires dedication, expertise, patience and money, but when everything goes well, as supposed to, the experience of owning such a vehicle is very rewarding.
If you are not in the DIY and spend your free time to fix something that is supposed to make your life easier (and not reverse), but you still want the beautiful 1960 and 70 organizations, restomodding then maybe what you 're looking for. And when it comes to the modernization of American classics, they do not get better than Ringbrothers.
No, they are not a kind of Nordschleife gurus, but two gentlemen of Spring Green, Wisconsin (Jim and Mike Ring) known for specializing in manufacturing of old cars feel like new. This year, they will unveil four new projects at SEMA, including Chevrolet, Ford, and a Winnebago, and a fastback Cadillac Series V.
The latter, named "Lady V" is one of the most bold builds undertaken by Jim and Mike, as they sacrificed two all-new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V to create a unique machine of its kind that combines vintage with modern.
The G-Code Camaro will also fly looks, especially in the second and is the fastest model in 1969, the brothers built so far. Although official figures are confidential (for the moment), they tell us that it will get a supercharged LS3 Wegner Whipple under the hood.
And then there is the Mustang; a 1965 model widebody that is powered by a supercharged 5.8-iter V8 Ford "borrowed" from a GT500.
Last but not least, it is the "fastest Winnebago world" - as described by Ringbrothers; RV 900+ horses with interior WWII Bomber inspiration.
"We are excited to begin these three new cars at the show, and we know that everyone at the show will get a real kick out of the Winnebago. It'll be a great week" said Mike Ring.
Indeed, there will be, and we can not wait to see these projects in Flash.
