Few would argue that the BMW M4 lack of many, especially regarding its performance capabilities. But you do not get to the position that the M4 is by resting on your proverbial laurels.
So it only makes sense that the Bavarian automaker is working on refreshing its popular performance coupe. Just what it has in store for us, however, we do not know exactly at this point.
spied during testing in its natural habitat (that being Germany) are a pair of M4 prototypes - one red, one white. Red seems to prefigure a facelift (light) for the M4 quite minor changes with the light, but it is the white example that caught our interest more.
Although still wearing camouflage, white prototype appears to be the components of the M4 GTS - but not all of them, not the same as the edition of the Sport competition recently introduced Spain.
Could this be our first look at a potential M4 CSL in the gap between the standard models and GTS? will he get a bump in output to go with the extra go-fast bits on the outside? or BMW has just tested some optional equipment to its catalog M Performance Parts?
It may be a while before we find out, but we look forward to see what the Munich engineers . store
