the automotive Museum Petersen will host the exhibition "Art of Bugatti", among the most comprehensive lines of the Bugatti family ever, featuring the most important creations of the company.
the exhibition will be open to the public October 23 and will remain on display for a year.
the exhibition aims to give visitors an inside look on the history of one of the greatest dynasties art of the last two centuries, starting with the Patriarch Carlo Bugatti and his way through the arts, including his mastery of painting, furniture design and manufacturing and Goldsmith. He then details the work of his two sons, Rembrandt and Ettore before finishing up the children of the latter.
"the Bugatti was an incredibly fascinating family and their story, like all families, is filled with triumph and tragedy," said Peter Mullin, President of the Board of Directors for the Petersen. "Their incredible aptitude for art and engineering is unmatched by any family before or since, and their legacy is worthy of celebration." It is a great honour to share these works with the public and I am delighted that we could put this exhibition at the Petersen. "
the vehicles on display include the Type 41 Royale, the Type 57 Atalante, the Type 35 and Type 46 as well as modern as the EB110 and the Chiron Bugatti unveiled recently, with the Assembly which represents the entire Bugatti range, featuring cars designed by Ettore and Jean Bugatti son.
