In general, when we bring you spy shots of a vehicle on public roads, it is one that has not yet reached the market. So what do we care if a Volvo V40 was spotted in the open? The car has been for more than four years now, after all.
In this case, it is not so much the "what" as "where" caught our attention. Because this particular V40 was spotted in the United States - Colorado, in particular the port of Arizona dealer plates. And Volvo does not sell the current V40 in America. Never. There seem to be three examples here: one gold, gray, and another gray Cross Country model. And they even seem to be the current model, either :. Volvo has recently launched a facelift for the V40, and these seem to predate this update
So what are they doing with those on US roads? We could infer that the Swedish automaker was preparing to make its entry-level model for the North American market, only then there would be little interest. The V40 will soon be replaced by a new model line, viewed by 40.1 and 40.2 concepts, and (hopefully) developed with the US market in mind -. Including the V40 was never
