Just as Nissan is preparing to expand its range of vehicles environmentally friendly, the first images with a hybrid version of the note ended up on the web.
Posted by an Japanese website images reveal the gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain of the MPV, which uses electrical energy to set the car in motion, while the small unit internal combustion acts as a generator to recharge the battery, in a manner similar to the BMW i3, with the optional range extender.
Specs have yet to be released, but we must wait as long to find out everything there is to know about what is expected to become the most efficient fuel version of the note, as it should be unveiled next month and go on sale in November, across Japan, probably in the e-Power Nissan Note nickname.
In addition to previewing its powertrain, the leaked images also offer a first glimpse of the facelifted version of the MPV, which adds a front fascia remodeled, with headlights, redesigned grille, new bumper with headlights fog larger, and a restyled lower grille. Its rear end is not yet visible, but it could bring a redesigned bumper and new taillights.
The facelifted version of the Nissan Note is supposed to be sold on international markets in the first half of 2017, but it remains to see if the e-Power will follow, or whether it will be limited to Land of the rising Sun
