Mark Webber will soon take to the streets of London in 919 hybrid endurance Porsche race through some of the most emblematic areas of the city.
Remarkably, four mile demonstration run around will not see blocked roads exclusively for the winner and championship 2015 Le Mans-triumphant 919. Instead, the Australian share the road with daily commuters between 6 and 7 pm local time.
That being said, it will be surrounded by a rolling road block of eight local police vehicles.
The road will see the hybrid from 919 Park Lane, Charing Cross, Embankment, Parliament Square, Piccadilly Circus and Westminster Bridge.
According to Webber, "This will be the first time the Porsche 919 Hybrid was driven on a public road I'm happy to be behind the wheel -.. It'll be pretty cool"
