Florida Man says Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has blown up and burned his Jeep ,
A man in the American claims its faulty Samsung Galaxy Note 7 caused his Jeep Grand Cherokee go up in flames in St. Petersburg , In Florida.
while talking with Fox13 Nathan Dornacher said that while at a yard sale, he left his Note 7 to load in the center console of the Jeep. Shortly after, he looked out the window to see the SUV ablaze. Although firefighters arrived on the scene and managed to put out the flames, it was too late to save the Jeep, the fire was so intense.
last week, Samsung issued a reminder to Note 7 in ten different countries after the confirmation of at least 35 Note 7 s catch fire or explode while being charged.
in a statement, the tech giant said it was working with Dornacher to investigate the incident.
"we are aware of the incident and we are working with Mr. Dornacher to investigate his case and to make sure that we do everything we can for him. Consumer safety is the highest priority of Samsung. In regards to Note7 Galaxy, we ask owners to take advantage of the product exchange program announced Friday of last week. "
Dornacher confirmed on Facebook that Korean society had been in contact with him and that he is"being useful":
"here is an update on what @Samsung has been in contact with us since last night and is very useful. They send someone to review everything. We won't win this for keyboard invesgator there. Yes we had insurance but very minimal and nothing to cover all recent work is no ones fault but ours. We are not and have not asked for anything, we do not get a lawyer, we will replace it in time, when we can.
all I want out of this is for everyone to take seriously this recall and if you don't know please find out before it is too late I had the phone for 5 days and don't have any tv or notice, we didn't. We are sure that person did wrong all that matters for me. "
