Honda has announced an investment of $45 million in its factory in South Carolina, which will see the installation of expand and add 250 new jobs.
the expansion will focus on painting, welding, material of service areas and final assembly and increase the footprint of the 115 000 square foot plant. This will allow the Japanese firm to increase the production of ATVS and side-by-side vehicles which are manufactured in the factory.

The progressive growth of our operations in South Carolina is really a testament to our outstanding partners and excellent products they create for our customers every day. "
each year, the South Carolina plant produces about Honda ATV 266 000 and almost 64 000 side-by-side vehicles, including models Pioneeer, 500, 700 and 1000.
the last investment cycle comes on the back of $93 million will be invested in the facility over the past five years.
