come next year, Skoda will attempt to update the Octavia in closer to the SUV coming Kodiaq in terms of style.
according to the designer Chief Jozef Kaban, the Octavia is to stay "the heart of the range," despite the inevitable boom SUV expected to take place in the next few years.
as reported by Auto Express the Octavia restyled again will differ from the Kodiaq with regard to their front. Where the SUV preparing to receive a two-tier set-up to emphasize the height, the Octavia will use larger lenses.
other changes will include a distinctive light signature LED, restylisé bumper and a Superb style grille - complete the makeover at the front. At the bottom, we'll always have led C-shaped, well that slightly redesigned with a more fresh look. Of course, all these changes will apply both the liftback and the domain model.
based on the same report, we learned that Skoda would wait instead for the next generation Octavia in order to introduce a plug-in version. This means that the car of 2017 could pretty much have the same engines as 2016.
things will be different on the inside but with a touchscreen 9.5 "with smartphone and integration support for Apple CarPlay and Auto Android rumored to be in the works. The Czech automaker could even offer more soft to the plastic touch to complete the updated Infotainment System.
