Kreisel Electric GmbH, formed by Johann, Markus and Philipp, already gives battery packs and electric motors, built electric prototypes of many car manufacturers and designs production lines of batteries lithium-ion for the OEM, reports News Auto .
the trio claim that every day, they receive up to 20 inquiries from different companies, including BMW, McLaren and Volkswagen, looking for help in the development of their respective fleet of electric vehicles.
according to the brothers, their patented laser-welding and cooling techniques helps their cells lithium-ion preserve full power better than the batteries currently used by Tesla.
"the entire industry is looking, and we have the solution. companies out and we offer projects. We have no real competitors regarding how to do,"says Markus Kreisel.
while the company currently operates a three car garage, he recently broke ground on the Assembly plant of the first lithium-ion battery of the country. It is hoped that battery production will start at the facility next year, allowing Kreisel to honor a contract that he recently performed with an undisclosed automaker that will "build 100,000 cars over the next two years".
the 68,000-square-foot factor will be big enough for Kreisel to sell 50 million cells in 2017, which is about 6 000 batteries.
