Ford has just launched three recalls in North America, affecting more than 100,000 vehicles.
the first door on the models of 2013-2015 Ford Taurus, Flex, Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT installed with engine turbo 3.5-liter Ford including Ford Police Interceptor sedan gasoline.
in total, about 88 000 vehicles are affected by a problem where the fuel pump control module could fail, therefore causing the engine not not to start or stall. Ford dealers will contact those who have involved cars and eventually replace fuel pump control module.
the second recall affects about 2,500 units of the Transit with the diesel of 3.2 litres in 2015-2016. These cars have been fitted with an injection pump that could fail and must therefore be inspected and repaired free of charge to the owners.
finally is a reminder of security compliance to select 2017 Ford escapes. About 23 000 software need window power updated as some may have systems that close the windows with too much force, increasing the risk of injury.
