Audi RS5 Rolls Out Test Mule, Drops For V8 V6 Turbo Menghadirkan
Audi RS5 Rolls Out Test Mule, Drops For V8 V6 Turbo ,
June 2, we will have our first official meeting with the next generation Audi A5 and S5 coupes, Ingolstadt but also working on a successor to their RS5 inches high to compete with BMW M4 and C63 Mercedes-AMG, among others.
The car we captured crawl outside the Nürburgring in Germany is a test mule covering the running speed of the RS5 in a slightly modified body the next S5 Coupe with wing extensions on four corners to make room for larger wheels and wider tracks and larger air ducts in the front bumper.
Like its sister model, the next RS4 we recently spied as before, the RS5 will give up the V8 naturally aspirated 450PS (444hp) 4.2-liter to a previous 3.0 liter newly developed V6 rumored to get either two conventional turbochargers, or a small electric turbocharger for instant boost at low rpm and a conventional turbocharger driven by exhaust gas to high-end performance.
Anyway, expect an output of around 500 horsepower, which would place the new RS5 above the 425hp BMW M4 and in the same league as the 503hp Mercedes-AMG C63 S.
an automatic dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four corners through the Quattro drive system all wheel drive Audi polarized back with a torque vectoring system on the rear differential combined with ceramic brakes (possibly optional) atoms and magnetic dampers.
By way of production, the RS5 will probably keep sober but muscular style of his predecessor with the wheel arches blown and unique front bumper and rear styling, as well as specific wheels to the model and trim interior.
We should see the new RS5 about a year after the launch of the A5 S5 models and regular sports.
