Just after building his dream Nissan 240Z, fast and Furious actor Sung Kang began working on his latest project, this time involving a Ford Maverick 1972 .
the Maverick has a special place in the heart of Kang as in Fast Five character of Han actually led a maverick of 1971. to help bring his latest creation to the life, the star has called on the help of three students and automotive technicians aspiring California in order to unveil the final version at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November.
The construction is monitored online by the YouTube channel Garage monkey and a few preliminary sketches and project details were announced.
The project will completely abandon the original powerplant group and in its place sits on 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder from the current Mustang, with a half-section provided by Ford himself. As Kang 240Z, the body will revitialized and give extra adrenaline boost with flared arches, custom bumpers and a solid front intercooler.
