Yet this was not enough for the German firm ABT, which takes the series to the next level of performance with a 404hp (410PS) tune.
With 32 percent boost in output, maximum torque 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five is also up to 110nm, of 420Nm (310 lb-ft) to 530nm (391 lb- ft). No acceleration and top speed figures have yet been released, but the model of the stock will go from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds topping a restriction 250 kmh (155 mph).
An adjustable suspension kit height and new 21-inch wheels wrapped around 255/30 R21 take care of the contact with the asphalt, while the complete package offered by ABT includes a kit with aerodynamic front bumper and grille assembly, side skirts, rear apron with a diffuser and quad pipes and a set of decals.
A world premiere is scheduled for the car show in Geneva in March.
