Ford launches 2013 F- 150 SVT Raptor with minor updates

following the unveiling regular model variants of the F-150 in Texas earlier this month, Ford has now introduced 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor gains some minor improvements for the new model year.
In an industry first, the last Raptor is offered directly from the factory with beadlock-compatible alloy wheels. Beadlocks secure the edges of a tire to the wheel between two surfaces to prevent the tire from rolling off the pad when tire pressure is low.
The Ford system is unique because it allows the owner to convert conventional rim Beadlock by unbolting the standard outer decorative ring, dismount the tire from its regular position and then remount the tire in activated lock position with the beadlock ring kit available from Ford Racing.
The 2013 model also gets available HID headlamps with HID which is said to be brighter and whiter than standard lamps and a redesigned SYNC with MyFord Touch system infotainment with a new 4.2-inch LCD multi-function display mounted in the dashboard and an 8-inch screen on the center console.
Finally, Ford has added a new exterior color for 2013 Raptor-exclusive, desert camouflage inspired relief.
The SVT Raptor continues to be powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine delivering 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, mated to an automatic transmission with six speeds electronically.
