"Each generation of the Thunderbird was a unique personality, that has marked the beginning of a new generation of breakthroughs in design or technology."
the Thunderbird began life in 1954 with Ford with a total of 11 generations of the model through 2005, which included two-seaters, roadsters, convertibles and models four doors, and roofs for and limousines. In its life expectancy of 51 years, Ford sold more than 4.3 million examples of the T-Bird. There is no current plans to revive the nameplate "Thunderbird".
