Ford Thunderbird owners celebrate 55th anniversary with Deaborn meeting [with 164 Photos]

about 300 Ford Thunderbirds of each year of production and their owners make their way today [Saturday, June 28] Headquarters, carmaker in Dearborn, to honor the 55th anniversary of the model with a special car show starting at noon and until 16:00.

the Thunderbird began life in 1954 with Ford with a total of 11 generations of the model through 2005, which included two-seaters, roadsters, convertibles and models four doors, and roofs for and limousines. In its life expectancy of 51 years, Ford sold more than 4.3 million examples of the T-Bird. There is no current plans to revive the nameplate "Thunderbird".
