1972 Nissan Skyline GT - R S45 for sale from a dealer in California

here's a car you don't see often - or at all - in the States. A California car dealer scored a first generation 1972 Nissan Skyline GT - R S45 for $38 998. Driving on the right (RHD) model, which is apparently a Japanese import, pointed 81 000 miles. However, we are not entirely sure if it's a Skyline GT - R original or a clone, based on the Skyline 2000GT - can't the badge "2000GT" on the center console, although we also saw the same logo appearing on a so-called Skyline GT - R S45 1970 original that showed us you back in June.

the Skyline 2000GT C10 featured an inline-six less powerful 2.0-liter producing 120 horses instead of the GT - R same displacement engine cranked out 160 ponies.

also from what we have read, the Skyline C10 series was produced until 1971 as it was replaced in 1972 by the second generation C110 series featuring a different body. But in any case, we are pretty sure that if someone is willing to pay almost 40 k $ for a classical model of the 1970s will and must do his homework before writing a check.
