Geely drops five new models and a Concept car in Shanghai Auto Show 2011
the last week has seen several new cars, concept and production, making their world first to the most important from a global perspective 2011 Shanghai auto. One of the brands most for the show is Geely Auto, the Chinese automaker and owner of Volvo Cars, which displays 37 vehicles as well as its latest achievements of R & d.
Headlining presence of the constructor of the Chinese to the lounge car is a concept hybrid vehicle called the McCAR, and five new models that says that the company will soon go into production and include the Gleagle GC6 Gleagle GX6, Gleagle GS - CC cut, Emgrand CE6 - RV and Englon SC7 - RV appointments on the jump for more details and photos.
Geely McCAR
we do not know how Geely came with his name, but the McCAR is a concept study for a subcompact model with enough space to pack a small folding electric scooter behind the tailgate. The urban commuter is designed to be equipped with a hybrid petrol / electricity or a fully electric propeller with a battery of 12 kW, good enough for a range of nearly 150 kilometers, or 93 miles.

Gleagle GC6
The CG6 is a family sedan affordable Compact with a wheelbase of 2 600 mm [168.9-in.] which measures 4 470 mm in length [176-in.] 1 730 mm of width [68.1-in.] and 1500 mm in height [59.0-in.]. Geely said that model four-door is designed to compete with cars like the new Nissan Sunny, which will be sold as the Nissan Versa 2012 in the States.

Gleagle GX6
one of the most interesting proposals of Geely is the small crossover GX6, who has a decoration very Kia-like. The GX6 has a 2461mm long wheelbase and measures 4 120 mm long, 1 755 mm wide and 1600 mm of height. The model of filter can be equipped with 1.5 litre atmospheric or 1.3 liter turbocharged Cabinet combined with a manual or automatic transmission, the company said.

Gleagle GS - CC
at the Shanghai show, Geely launched a roadster version of its GS Cabrio, called GS - CC. The model two doors has a two-piece electrically folding hardtop that stows away in the trunk at a push of a button. It is based on the same platform architecture the GX6 crossover sharing the same Turbo 1.5 liter and 1.3-liter engines.

Emgrand EC6-RV
The Emgrand EC6-RV is small hatchback model with a design that appears to have been influenced by one or more cars from Mini's lineup. The five-door hatch measures 3 845 mm long, 1 763 mm width and 1 430 mm high, with power coming from a four 1.5 litre naturally aspirated or turbocharged 1.3 litre with a manual or a transmission with double clutch 7 reports.

Englon SC7 - RV
be co-owner of Manganese Bronze, the author of the famous black Taxis of London, Geely thought it would be a good idea to introduce a local version inspired by (but not based on) by the original model. Style of the SC7 - RV is a strange mixture of classic and modern lines with the car measuring 4 390 mm in length, width 1 820 mm and 1 555 mm in height. Power comes from a variety of petrol and diesel engines boilerplate for manual or automatic transmissions.
