The Tokyo Motor Show is the best place to see some authentic kei cars, and no one knows more about small cars that Daihatsu.
we are inclined to think that Daihatsu knows his way around a kei car, because it's the oldest Japanese automaker. In fact, in its long history, the company built Toyota of the countless models and spawned a multitude of concepts, becoming one of the most prolific builders kei - car to the Japan. the Ori Nori (which translates roughly "getting in and out") is described as a "worker migrant multi-use of the near future". It was built to create easy access - mainly for people with disabilities - in a car with compact proportions and, as its name suggests, focuses on getting in and out of it with ease. It has 2-way access doors that open widely, a retractable slope and a floor lift. Its spacious CAB has enough space to carry two wheelchairs unfolded.
the gifts of Tempo, the idea of a new commercial space like 'vehicle' - as Daihatsu described it - that creates a new class of mini mobile outlets. Imagine it as a truck of ice kei, only selling other products. The model measures 1 995 mm in height and is equipped with facilities for the sales of products or cooking.
last but not least is the D-base, which is in fact the only car in the trio which presents in preview a production model. Daihatsu said it embodies its next generation of compact cars (probably the model Mira) and there are technologies of fuel consumption for the e: S from the manufacturer of the car.
