Mitsubishi gave up to launch a new Galant sedan larger, and yet he's still trying to get a replacement of its aging, launch on the market, even if it means working with rivals Nissan.
plans to develop replacement launch with Renault would have had scrapped and Mitsubishi is now looking at a possible new partner.
automotive News quoted a company spokesman as confirming a new Galant is currently on ice, but the hopes for a new start are not dead. He noted also that said unnamed spokesman admitted cooperating with Nissan to divide costs was "an option", but the deduction and other are on the table too.
Mitsubishi really needs a new more modern sedan, under the trade name of the throw fell 16% in 2014. The annual overall turnover noted an increase of 25 percent, but that fell to the demand for much more recent models like the Outlander Sport (sold as ASX in Europe).
curiously, sales launch apparently went up 68 percent in January of 2015, where a total of 1 515 units were sold, cutting the previously steady downward trend.
