Spied: All-new Opel Astra Hatch exhibits of lights of Production Menghadirkan
Spied: All-new Opel Astra Hatch exhibits of lights of Production ,
we have seen prototypes of the Opel and Vauxhall Astra before, but now, for the first time, we took wear them before production and rear light designs rather than elements of the parts bin.
opel had suggested that the design of the new Astra would be influenced by the concept of Monza, but you really need a vivid imagination to make any kind of links between the two. At best, you'll find some clues of style vaguely familiar here and there as the shape of the grille with the winged logo.
inside the European arm of GM wants to go more upscale by improving the quality, fit and finish, while giving the Astra a premium design. In the previous spy shots, we caught a glimpse of the compact model dashboard, including the less crowded central console that integrates a larger screen for the Infotainment System.
just as Opel has done with the Corsa rejuvenated, the next Astra should drive on an updated version of the current model (Delta) platform, with engineers focusing on weight reduction.
Powertrain offerings will include the family brand new GM Europe of engines and transmissions to the displacement of 1.0 to 1.5 - liter with up to 165hp. To compete with EcoBoost 1.0 litre of Ford in the foyer, Opel will give Astra a 113hp new unit of gasoline turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0 liter direct injection (115PS), borrowed from the Corsa. An OPC (VXR for Vauxhall and the United Kingdom) hot model, possibly thereby around 300hp, is in the cards as well.
the new Astra hatchback is must happen in 2015, with a station wagon and a sedan to follow afterwards.
